What does the Behind the Scenes tour include?

These tours will be delivered by one of our current students. The student will start by taking you on a tour of the main campus and its facilities. After this, you will then have the opportunity to ask the ambassador to show you any areas, classrooms, or facilities that you may be studying in so you can get to grips with your surroundings before you begin Induction Week.
The student guiding the tour will be well placed to answer any specific questions you may have – it’s worth coming prepared with a list of things you want to know more about.

How long is a Behind the Scenes tour?

The campus tour will last between 45 minutes and 1 hour. If you ask the ambassador to show you any specific areas of the campus, it may take slightly longer.

When are campus tours and where do I book?

We are running 3 Behind the Scenes Campus Tours:

If you have any questions or additional requirements, please email careers@plymouth.ac.uk

Is this tour subject-specific?

Where possible, we will recruit a Student Ambassador studying the programme you will be studying. However, if this is not possible, we can put you in touch with an academic via email to answer any programme specific questions.
We will try to pair you with a current student from your programme of interest, but this is not always possible. If you have any subject specific questions, please email careers@plymouth.ac.uk and we will put you in touch with an academic.
Please note that we cannot guarantee that your subject-specific request will be successful due to timetabling and course commitments.

Need an answer to a question?

If you have any specific questions about a particular course or university in general, contact careers@plymouth.ac.uk – we’ll seek the answers to your questions and get back to you as quickly as we can.
