Postgraduate scholarships for international students
We offer several scholarships for international students who wish to study in person postgraduate taught (PGT) degree programmes
International Postgraduate Welcome to Plymouth Scholarship
The International Welcome to Plymouth Scholarship will be offered automatically to any postgraduate taught student who meets the entry requirements outlined in their offer letter.
Scholarship value: £4,000 off tuition fees in year one.

Please note:
- Students who are eligible for multiple scholarships, awards or discounts by the University of Plymouth will only qualify for the highest amount awarded. Where a student may qualify for the alumni discount and a scholarship then the highest award only will be applied. Scholarships are awarded to eligible students who commence their first year of study at the University of Plymouth, regardless of level/stage. Foundation Year students may also be eligible for scholarships.
- Scholarships are not available for courses within the Peninsula Medical School and Peninsula Dental School.
- Scholarships are not available for online courses (distance learning).
- Scholarships will not be applied for students who are sponsored. Please make sure you inform the Admissions Team at admissions@plymouth.ac.uk if you are sponsored.
