Key features

This 20 credit degree-level module is aimed at post-registration nurses and assistant practitioners who will care for individuals who have stomas and who wish to develop their theoretical and practical knowledge.
The module aims to develop your knowledge and understanding to enable you to apply a systematic, informed and effective approach to the care and management of individuals who require or have a stoma.
This module can be studied as a standalone module or as an optional module towards some of our BSc (Hons) Professional Development in Health and Social Care pathways - please contact the Professional Development Unit for further information.
