Ole Petter Løtvedt and Ida Kastell, MSc Planning graduates in 2015, now working as planners in Bergen municipality, Norway

The Town Planning Apprenticeship course helped me to broaden my knowledge of the variety of subject areas within planning. The inclusion of guest speakers, interactive nature of the lectures, and field trips helped me to understand how our learning could be applied in real-life job roles.

Chartered Town Planning Apprentice

As a direct result of my participation in the course, I was able to fast-track my membership of the RTPI and become a Chartered Town Planner within 10 months of my graduation. It has also enabled me to progress my career, being promoted to a Senior Planning Officer within my Local Authority

Charlotte Howrihane, Chartered Town Planner Graduate now working as a Senior Planning Officer for South Ham District Council and West Devon Borough Council
