The certificate the University issues as proof of the granting of an award is a unique and valuable document which should be carefully preserved by its recipient. Under no circumstances will the University issue a replacement to any applicant holding an existing original certificate. Replacement certificates will be printed on the current University of Plymouth certificate parchment unless the award is in collaboration with a partner institution.
The loss or destruction of a certificate is a serious matter and a replacement will only be issued at the discretion of the University. The University reserves the right not to issue a replacement or to specify reasons for its decision.

A certified certificate is a black and white copy of the original which bears an official stamp and signature. This document can be used for verification purposes and can be ordered from our online store.
A Transcript will detail the modules studied and marks obtained for each year of your course. Transcripts are available for pre-1993 or post-1993 studies. Please note that some pre-1993 transcripts may not be able to be produced due to insufficient information being available in the paper archives. In this instance we will contact you to discuss an alternative. Transcripts can be ordered from our online store.
Award Verification Letters are printed on University headed paper and confirm the course studied, award obtained, date of award and dates of attendance. They will bear an official stamp and signature. Order from our online store.
Documents will usually be processed and posted within 10 working days. During exceptionally busy periods processing can take up to 21 working days.
