Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) courses at the University of Plymouth
Opening up a world of opportunity

Just wanted to say thank you so much for making the introductory course so enjoyable and interesting. You all inspired me to train as an English teacher after I came to the taster session you ran last year and I came away thinking what a great bunch of people you are and I loved hearing about your experiences around the world.
I really enjoyed taking this module. It was engaging and I learnt a lot and although it was intensive, it was still enjoyable. Thank you for taking the time to prepare and run this course, it has been beneficial to me. I will definitely recommend it to friends…
The module was great. I really loved doing this course. I got to actually learn how to teach language in such a small amount of time.
I am already coming into my fifth month in Mongolia, which is absolutely insane to write. It's passed in the blink of an eye. I'm having a fantastic time here. Anyway, my main point [is to] express my gratitude and appreciation again for all the work you do on the TESOL course, it really did give me such a solid foundation that has allowed me to hit the ground running in this job. I even received a 'teacher of the month' award in November, which was such a nice surprise! The work you do has truly made a difference in my life and I think that's an important thing to say.
