Jane Grant

Jane Grant is an artist. Her work explores ideas in art and science, specifically astrophysics, neuroscience and the history of scientific ideas.

Jane writes about noise, the mutability of matter, desire and astrophysics. She is Associate Professor (Reader) in Digital Arts at Plymouth University where she is co-director of the research group Art and Sound and Principle Supervisor in the Planetary Collegium, CAiiA-Node.

Rostam Hakeem

Rostam employs archaeological methodologies in both his practice and theoretical research, excavating appropriate personal histories and documents to transform them (in the way Foucault suggests) into monuments, so that we can understand our present. He is interested in the double relationship of what is excavated and what is produced from the data. In this he is working against forgetfulness through a process of creating a fictionalised past.

Rostam is studying PhD in Art and Media with Plymouth University. He worked as a director of a directory of fine art in Sulaimany Kurdistan-Iraq and was a lecturer at Sulaimany university and the Sulaimany institution of fine art.
