- Would you like to meet the winners from the 2018 Creative Associate awards in an informal exhibition?
The Sustainable Earth Institute (SEI) is celebrating innovative and novel ways of communicating sustainability research, with an informal exhibition showcasing how researchers have collaborated with creative industry organisations through the Creative Associates project.
Chaired by Professor Iain Stewart, a highlight of the event will be a keynote talk by Claire McNulty, Senior Director at National Geographic, sharing her insight on the art of storytelling for science. This will follow with an exhibition of the Creative Associate award winners to celebrate their project successes, displaying how they’ve used a variety of media such as film, photography, animation, illustration, poetry, digital 3D visualisation and more to present research in a new, interesting way.
The researchers and creative organisations will be on hand to discuss their creative outputs, and their experiences of collaborating together through the 2018 Creative Associates project.
This is a brilliant opportunity to bring together researchers, creative organisations, businesses, social enterprises, community groups and the general public to network and discuss sustainability research, public engagement and communicating research.
