Fish eye view - city centre
This SEI Research Forum event took place on 7 December 2023 in partnership with the Faculty of Arts Humanities and Business.
This event was an opportunity to bring together University of Plymouth researchers from across all disciplines to explore how the University is, and can further develop, place-based research to tackle local and global challenges.
This event:
  • highlighted some research already underway across the University
  • included external speakers delivering activity, for example Ed Whitelaw, Director, Nature and Neighbourhoods, RIO
  • outlined research funding opportunities and bring together researchers interested in taking interdisciplinary projects forward around the SEI Interdisciplinary Challenge Themes
  • developed a number of (interdisciplinary) place-based project ideas that might be taken forward and developed further through the SEI Small Collaborative Funding.
The workshop was open to all University of Plymouth researchers – any discipline or any stage of career.
