Marine Institute research

Scholarships

The Marine Institute has secured funding to support three scholarships to enable current final-year undergraduate students to continue their education at the University via a marine related postgraduate masters level course.
This scheme has been made possible via a generous donation from Ashfords Solicitors with a key aim of helping to retain talented students in the region.
Applicants will be judged primarily on the basis of their undergraduate academic performance. Shortlisting will consider a personal statement indicating why you wish to take the postgraduate course you have selected and how this choice fits with your longer term career or personal objectives.
It is a precondition of the award that successful applicants will conduct a marine themed dissertation as part of their studies.
