Save event
This insightful event was aimed at empowering school staff to support children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and those from disadvantaged backgrounds.
This session, working with schools, introduced the 'Universal Design for Learning' (UDL) framework, focusing on strategies for fostering social interactions among children and enhancing communication through the use of Widget software.
The event featured speakers from the University of Plymouth, the Local Authority Head of SEND and Speech and Language Therapist to help stimulate discussions and ideas for supporting speech, language and communication for children in primary schools.
