The 2015 ESRC Festival of Social Science offered a fascinating insight into some of the country's leading social science research and how it influences our social, economic and political lives - both now and in the future.

The University hosted a series of events as part of the ESRC’s annual festival. Our festival theme was 'Social Sciences Shaping a Sustainable World', highlighting the importance of social science research in developing a sustainable future.

The festival was an opportunity for our researchers to engage with non-academic audiences, increasing awareness of the impact of social science on society and the economy. It was an opportunity for the audience to meet the researchers, engage in research activities and potentially influence research.
