Biography: Professor Duncan Lewis
Duncan is Professor of Management at the University and was previously Acas Professor of Workplace Futures at the Glamorgan Business School. Co-author of Trouble at Work, Duncan has been co-investigator on two large-scale publicly funded (ESRC) studies of bullying, discrimination and workplace ill-treatment.
An expert on workplace bullying and ill-treatment Duncan has been a keynote speaker at conferences across Europe and as far afield as Australia and New Zealand.
In 2010 Duncan was Chair of the International Conference on Workplace Bullying and Harassment and is a founding member of the researcher network ‘The International Association of Workplace Bullying and Harassment’.
Duncan has worked with a range of blue-chip employers including British Airways, Royal Mail, Rolls Royce, Co-operative Financial Services amongst others.
He has worked extensively on bullying and harassment and culture change with public bodies including the NHS, local government and armed forces.
