More dentists will be trained in treating the ‘source of tooth pain’ thanks to a new postgraduate programme launching in January 2021.
The University of Plymouth is running MSc Endodontics, and welcomes Dr Federico Foschi, Professor and Consultant of Endodontics, as programme lead.
Endodontics focuses on the causes, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of diseases and injuries of the teeth's dental pulp. Professor Foschi is the current Training Program Director for Endodontics on behalf of Health Education England, and has published more than 50 peer-reviewed papers in the discipline.
MSc Endodontics joins the four existing postgraduate programmes run in the University’s Peninsula Dental School: MSc Restorative Dentistry, MSc Oral Surgery, MSc Periodontology, and the Faculty of General Dental Practice (FDGP) Articulation route.
Applications are now open via the University of Plymouth website.
