Prospective students will be able to find an outstanding degree along with more information on where it can take them at Plymouth University’s undergraduate Open Day.
Taking place on Wednesday 22 June, the event is designed to inform prospective students about how they can use their degree by offering expert advice from the University’s Careers & Employability Hub.
Experts in their field will be discussing graduate opportunities as well as their teaching and research in the hundreds of courses on offer, ranging from marine science and media to English and economics.
The day runs from 9am-4.30pm and, as well as taking part in careers sessions, visitors can take part in a tour of the campus, a bus tour of the city, budgeting workshops, help and advice sessions on applications and a choice of subject-specific lectures and information sessions.
A shuttle bus is also provided to the Plymouth Allied Health Centre for those interested in health professions courses, and current students will be on hand all day to answer questions about Plymouth University life.
Isobel Rossiter, Head of Student Recruitment and Admissions, said:
“Our undergraduate open days are always very popular, as they contain such a variety of taster sessions, help and advice. And we’re really excited to be able to show our students not only the great opportunities they’ll have while studying, but also those they can embark on when they graduate. The days are always really vibrant and informative, so we’re looking forward to welcoming prospective students to help them on the next step of their adventure.”
