International scholarships

To reward outstanding achievement the University of Plymouth offers scholarship schemes to help towards funding your studies. You could get up to 50% off your tuition fees in your first year.

Entry requirements

Undergraduate
Applicants with a High School Diploma, awarded from 2019 onwards, will need to study a University of Plymouth International College (UPIC) Foundation or similar for entry onto undergraduate programmes.
We will consider the Pre-University Certificate, also translated as Peeshdaneshgahe, awarded from 1992 to 2018, for admission onto undergraduate courses.
Postgraduate
We require a Bachelor degree (known as Licence or Karshenasi) or a Professional Doctorate from a recognised university. Please ensure you meet the entry requirements for the programme you would like to study .
20 point scale Alphabetical UK Degree equivalent
17 - 20 A 1st
15 - 16.99 B 2:1
13.5 - 14.99 B or C 2:2
12 - 13.49 C 3rd

English language requirements

A recognised English language qualification (e.g. IELTS) would be required, or successful completion of one of the University of Plymouth's pre-sessional English Language courses .
