International scholarships

To reward outstanding achievement the University of Plymouth offers scholarship schemes to help towards funding your studies. You could get up to 50% off your tuition fees in your first year.

Entry requirements


Undergraduate

We require applicants to have completed the Zambian School Certificate AND a foundation (PUIC) programme or equivalent.


Postgraduate

We require applicants to have completed a Zambian Master's degree from a recognised institution with the following entry criteria:

Zambian Degree Classification - Percentage Zambian 2.5 scale Zambian 4.0 scale  UK Degree Equivalent 
2.5 (A+) 4.0 (A)  1st
66% and above 2.0 (A) 3.5 (B+)  2:1 
60% - 65% 1.5 (B+)  3.0 (B) 2:2


English language requirements

A recognised English language qualification (e.g. IELTS) would be required or successful completion of one of the University of Plymouth's pre-sessional English language courses.
