Why did you choose Plymouth University?

Plymouth University offers a biomedical science course that fits to my career aspiration. Both academic and non-academic staffs are dedicated, helpful and committed to supporting the students. The University offers state of the art facilities that allows students to reach their full potential and achieve their goal.

What do you enjoy about studying at Plymouth University?

I enjoyed my course as it teaches us how the human body functions and how other organisms affect us. Plymouth University and the Student Union offers a lot of clubs and societies for students to join up and enhance their extra-curricular skills, I chose to join the Tennis Club as I've been playing tennis since a young age and therefore this offers me to take my skills further.

How do you find living in Plymouth?

Plymouth is a nice little city by the seaside. The Hoe Park and the seafront is such a beautiful place for a walk whenever I feel like I need to unwind. Opposite to big cities like London, Plymouth offers a peaceful yet vibrant atmosphere. The city centre has everything a student could possibly need.

How is living in the UK different to living at home?

I had to adapt a lot to the UK culture, which differs considerably to Thailand. The cost of living is the biggest culture shock that hits me when I first arrive in the UK but then it has taught me to more considerate on spending. Living here also taught me to be more independent and to be responsible for my own work.
