History careers day

Giving current students an insight into the careers of recent graduates
History students hear from recent graduates at a special careers day organised by the departments.

On 26 January 2018 history hosted a successful careers day for current students. Recent Plymouth history graduates who now work in a range of fields came in to talk to current students about their careers and how their degree helped them.

Chloe Griffin, Class of 2017 and now Operations Supervisor of Cheddar Gorge and caves spoke about her work at Cheddar. Chloe also talked about her work promoting Cheddar Gorge in the media and press with recent news focusing on Cheddar Man.
