Fibres of Being at the Leadworks

Stage 2 has been sharing their practice in end-of-year shows at Leadworks in Plymouth. The exhibition is an opportunity for Stage 2 to collaborate and demonstrate their emerging skills in curating and installing a body of work.

Announcing the winner of the Platform Graduate Award 2023

We are delighted to announce the 2023 Platform Graduate Award has been awarded to Zahra Khanum.

A graduate of the University of Plymouth, Khanum specialises in filmmaking, photography, and oil painting to investigate how place, memory and migration influenced the complexities of South Asian identity in Britain. As part of the award, she will receive a year’s bespoke mentorship and a £2,000 bursary to support the next stages of her artistic practice post-university.

Degree Show

Showcase your final project in a faculty-wide exhibition alongside students from our 12 art and design degrees. The Degree Show is your chance to introduce friends and family, your new creative network and art community, prospective employers and the general public to your work.

The Degree Show is a flagship event, which showcases the skills and knowledge students, alumni and local practitioners. It is our annual celebration of student success and provides students to meet and engage with practitioners across the creative industries.
