Biography:
Office of Open Practice Studio/Agency aka oopsa is a creative studio/agency working across architecture, design and public art on commissioned and self-initiated projects. The studio explores themes via public and private projects – designing and producing spatial experiences for people, cities, companies and institutions. oopsaʼs mission is to create environments for learning, remembering and rethinking – that are approachable, experimental and experiential. Co-founders Penelope Phylactopoulos and Eric Moed met at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design, where their paths crossed in the Masters in Design Studies program. Previously, Penelope and Eric worked as architects in New York City on commercial, residential and institutional projects. oopsa was born out of their collaborative design work, writing, and discussions on the future of design practice.
