Key features
- The programme aims to inspire students to develop research to tackle real world marine engineering problems of today and future.
- Students will develop research skills and mastery of marine engineering operation and practice through a 60-credit individual MSc dissertation .
- The programme provides an opportunity to develop advanced English language written communication skills through the production of a Master’s dissertation.
- This provides Ukrainian students with the opportunity to receive an international degree alongside the Ukrainian award without having to leave Ukraine. It is also hoped that these graduates will develop skills that will be vital to the rebuilding of the Ukrainian economy and higher education system over the coming years.

Engineering Research Methods, Skills and Professional DevelopmentYou will use a methodical approach to engineering research that helps identify and define projects that are practically realistic and academically worthwhile. You will plan your research project and select ethically suitable quantitative and qualitative research methods. Your progression towards professional registration will be appraised and plans made for your personal development (PDP - Personal Development Plan).

Entry requirements
UK/EU
A relevant degree with honours or an equivalent professional qualification. Other qualifications accompanied by substantial experience in an appropriate field may also be considered. Non-standard applications will be considered on a case by case basis.
International
