Agri-Tech Cornwall Automated Brassica Harvesting in Cornwall (ABC) project (1280x720)
From the cutting-edge of digital technology to marine engineering, from health and cognition to robotics, Plymouth’s wide ranging research and expertise embraces innovation and impact.
We have a proven track record of working successfully with organisations in the UK and abroad on collaborative projects, contract research and bespoke consultancy. The University has a dedicated team to support you in the set up and co-ordination of consultancy and contract research agreements.
We can help you find the talent that’s right for you, whether you’re an employer with an established graduate scheme, an SME looking for specialist knowledge or an entrepreneur wanting some part-time marketing or systems support.

My experience of working with the University so far has been, in a word, brilliant. I think we have probably saved ourselves already twelve months of time, and probably thousands and thousands of pounds in terms of what we've gained in just a few months.

Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP)

A KTP is a partnership between a university and a company to work on a challenging and innovative project which will transfer new knowledge/expertise into the business and extend research. A KTP Associate is employed to deliver the programme of work and the 12 to 36 month project is co-funded through an Innovate UK grant and the participating company.
The University is proud to be an early adopter of KTPs and has been successfully delivering programmes for over 40 years.
If you want to grow your business through collaboration and innovation, KTP is the programme that has the power you need to get ahead of the competition.
