I attended Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry between 2008 and 2013, graduating with a Merit in BMBS. Since qualifying I have remained within the Peninsula area, and I now am involved in teaching at Plymouth University Life Sciences Resource Centre (LSRC) alongside of my Radiology specialty training.
The LSRC has close ties with the Radiology Academy, as first year Registrars assist in the teaching programme and consultant Radiologists integrate clinical anatomy with imaging to teach basic principles with clinical relevance. It is an absolute pleasure to return to the LSRC and teach students, especially as I was once in their shoes.
It is a true privilege to use the ever-increasing and diverse teaching resources in the LSRC and combine them with my clinical knowledge and experiences, and to be part of a great teaching programme at Plymouth University Peninsula Schools of Medicine and Dentistry.
