"I haven’t met a lecturer who wouldn’t go above and beyond for their students."
Why did you choose Plymouth University to do your degree course?
It was kind of the other way around: I felt that Plymouth University chose me. I knew that I had to leave London and try to get as far away as possible. Personally, as well, the Plymouth Raiders being a powerhouse in what is South West basketball also made the decision a lot easier for me.
How have you found your time here?
My time here has being utterly amazing, from the litany of housemates I got to live with to all the basketball I got to play (I was awarded a sporting excellence scholarship). I would recommend Plymouth to anyone thinking of doing an undergraduate degree.
Would you encourage prospective students to study with us and why?
Talking mainly with regards to the business school, I haven’t met a lecturer who wouldn’t go above and beyond for their students. This can be academically or personally, just to make you feel better as an individual. Yes, I was taught an awful lot, but helping me to find a placement which led me to my graduate job has been such a big help. I couldn’t have asked for more.
