This is an exciting opportunity to hear Judith Weir, composer and Master of the Kings Music, speak about her creative inspirations and her most recent works including her newest work - Brighter Visions Shine Afar - an overture that was performed at the Coronation. In conversation with Robert Taub, Judith will also discuss her development as a composer including her student days, and will play musical excerpts and illustrate key musical ideas. This event is part of the celebration of the awarding of an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Plymouth to Judith Weir earlier the same day. Please join us for this unique evening of conversation with Judith Weir.
"I am thrilled to be speaking with Judith Weir about her exciting career as a composer!"
- Dr Robert Taub, Music Director, The Arts Institute, University of Plymouth
